IT'S A.........
So today was the day we have waited for...for about 5 months. We had our ultrasound and found out that we are having....guess you can't tell by the color....but we're are having another girl. Yes, a GIRL!!! I'm excited but a little sad. I really wanted a boy because this will be the last baby that we have. I can't go through another pregnancy and my drs. have told me it would be too dangerous to try and deliver any more after this. I have to have my babies by c-section and I just have too much scar tissue in all the wrong places. So when this sweet little one is delivered I will be having a tubal ligation. Anyways I will be posting some pics soon of the ultrasound, because I already think the baby is way cute.

SO I'm not so good at this whole blog thing. It's really hard to get the strength to sit for very long and do something like this. But anyways, on Friday I finally got connected to my insulin pump and I'm just loving it so much. It's awesome. No more shots, just a push of a few buttons and I'm good. Also on Friday I started throwing up like crazy again and ended up in the ER for a couple of hours. I got pumped full of fluids and was off. The doctor diagnosed me with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Which is basically the medical term for severe vomiting during pregnancy. Luckily though they have this wonderful medication, that is totally awesome, called Zofran that works wonders. I love it. It's anti-nausea medication and I can't say it enough, I love it. So I just need to keep hoping and praying that I don't end up in the ER anymore over the next 6 months.
On another the note, the girls are well. They are doing much better than last week, other than their attitudes. Of course they are girls and they are big drama queens, but they are beautiful and I love them tons. They are so cute with me being pregnant. They are also being very careful with my tummy and very soft. They get so sad when I have my bad days. They are going to be great big sisters.

THE LAST WEEK
So this last week started to get better than the week before. Last Monday night I spent about 4 hours in the ER because I was severely dehydrated and had a urinary tract infection. After being pumped with fluids and given some Zofran, for nausea, I was feeling sooo much better. The dr. gave me a prescription for Zofran and it has helped so much. Tomorrow, Tuesday, I will be getting my minimed insulin pump. I am very excited, but very nervous for the change. I'm hoping for much better control of my diabetes so I can have a happy, healthy baby.
The girls are now sick with the nasty cough junk that's going around and they are miserable. It's not fun having sick kids. Also today Omar started his new part time job. He's driving an advertisement truck around for 4 hrs a day and gets paid $10/hr. It's nice knowing that I don't have to go to work if I don't want to. I actually enjoy staying with the girls and being lazy.

Dunno
So everything here is going ok. I am 8 weeks and 2 days along in this wonderful adventure of pregnancy. I have only thrown up 3 times so far, but the feeling of having to throw up and not being able too....sucks. I have lost 8 lbs too. I have my first prenatal visit on Thursday and hopefully everything is good so far. I will finally be getting my insulin pump by the end of the month, and I am way excited, but very nervous.
As for Omar and the girls, they are good. The girls are getting bigger everyday and smarter. Kamillah can verify all the letters, Anabella can write them all. They know their numbers and colors and shapes. They are amazing. Omar will be starting a part time job in the evenings in about a week and a half. This way I won't have to work. That will be nice, cause I get so tired and exhausted so easily these days.

WOW we finally have a blog.
Wow, so okay everyone is doing a blog these days. We finally have one to share. It's such a great time to start one because we recently found out that we are expecting our 3rd child. Once we found out we traded in our Nissan Xterra for a van. We've had a van before, but sold it. Well now we're thinking that was a bad idea. Oh well. Anyways, I haven't been feeling very well at all. It's crazy being pregnant after having the last one more than 3 yrs ago. Also it's going to be crazy changing diapers again. We haven't had diapers in our house for 8 months. Well I'm off to a good start with this...I guess. Anyways off to bed. Night.
