June 20th-July 3rd, Omar's training in S. Korea

So from June 20th-July 3rd Omar had the privilege to go to South Korea for his annual training with the Guard. He liked it, but didn't. He says the people smell bad, but are very kind. He went to the Temple grounds and attended church, and he almost got arrested for taking pictures. Instead he just got his camera taken away and pictures deleted. He saw a lot of free movies on post, and he went to the DMZ, which is where S. Korea borders N. Korea and they signed some treaty thing. Anyways these are a few of the pictures he came home with.

June 18th Omar's swearing in...

On June 18th Omar had the wonderful privilege of swearing in as a U.S. Citizen. It's something he's been waiting to do for a long time. The opportunity came up when he joined the National Guard and they paid for it. Thanks so much to them because it is pricey.

This is everyone that went and supported him. My nephew Christian, Me, my Mom, and the girls. Also the one taking the picture, Miguel.

June 13th, Stake Lagoon Day

So on June 13th it was our Stake Lagoon Day, and we decided to go and do all the free stuff that we had coupons for. We figure why not go do something fun since Omar was gonna be out of town for 2 weeks. Besides we enjoy doing fun stuff together as a family.

Class of '08

I know I'm late posting this but in June my youngest sister graduated High School. She went to East High and they held the ceremony at Abravenal Hall. I am very proud of Marie and all of her accomplishments.

She is Here

This is how she sleeps in the daytime.
Here she is stretching.
You can kind of see a smile.
Look at those chubby cheeks.
Great big sisters, they are wonderful helpers.

So I went into labor on August 4th, and I was only 33 weeks along. Obviously it was too early to have a baby. So I  was given 3 shots of trebuteline to stop the labor and it worked. So from then on I was having NST's... Non-stress tests twice a week, measuring my fluid and watching the baby on monitors. It was not fun but it was worth it. Being that I'm diabetic and on insulin I was scheduled for an amniocentesis on Sept. 2nd and if everything was fine with baby's lungs I could have a schedules c-section on Sept 3rd, and my actual due date was Sept. 21st. Well that was the day Anabella was starting Kindergarten, Sept. 3rd. Anyways on August 31st I didn't feel very good and I was in pain, so I went to Labor and Delivery and they checked me and I was dialated to a 1. My dr. decided that she would deliver me and boy was I grateful.
At 8:47pm our little girl was born weighing in at 8 lbs. 1 oz. and measuring 21.5 in. With tons of dark hair. Hello she was 3 weeks early. We have named her Victoria May and she is such a good baby.

                                   So it's been a while since I've
posted and everyone is wondering what's going on. Well we have had a crazy busy summer. We have enjoyed playing outside, we went to Heber City to ride on Thomas the Tank Engine, going to the zoo, watching fireworks and going to a carnival, going to the Days of 47 Rodeo. We also enjoyed a Princess Tea Party with a real princess. All of this while I was extremely big and HOT. The end of June Omar went to South Korea for some military training, he almost got arrested at the border of North Korea, just for taking pictures.
